Summer Camp – Summer Hols 3 nights at Downe 26 – 28th July??

Recent Camps

Scouts - Autumn Camp 2008.

Five Scouts along with two Leaders spent last weekend at Bushy Wood.

The camp was planned for the individuals to work together as a team to complete a series of challenges not only to improve their teamwork but to cover the requirements for the Outdoor Challenge Badge. Of the five; four sucessfully passed the badge. (The other one already had the award!)

On Saturday evening the group spent the evening at Arlington Staduim for the final meet of the season, with the Lightening Rods and national bangers taking part in a series of races.

The scouts all enjoyed watching over 50 Bangers compete in the racing, with only 4 cars finishing the final race!

Everyone had a great time, and we are looking forward to the next camp....

22nd - 24th June 2007, Broadstone Warren CELEBRATION.

2007 is the hundreth anniversary of Scouting, but it is also the 75th anniversary of Broadstone Warren Scout Site & Activity Centre.

Seven intrepid Scouts ventured over to Broaqdstone warren for the Celebration 2007 camp. to mark not olny the centenery of Scouting but the 70th Anniversary of Broadstone Warren Conty Campsite being in Scout association control.
